Hostal Fachente - Leon

The location of the hotel was ideal, just a few blocks away from the main square, making it easy to explore the city. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with all the information we needed and even arranging a volcano tour for us. the rooms were very clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The lack of power points near the beds, which made it difficult to charge our devices overnight. Another drawback was the absence of hooks or hangers to hang our clothes and towels, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location of the hostel is great, just a few minutes away from the main square/streets. the staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious, especially the local tipico option. the rooms have two fans to keep you cool, and there is even a shuttle service available for convenient transportation. the wifi works well and the hostel provides comfortable hangout spaces.

The main entrance door of the hostel is a bit low and can be easy to hit your head on, especially for taller individuals.

We had a great stay at this hostel. the staff at Hostal Fachente were very helpful, especially Christian who spoke excellent English. the beds were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We loved having drinkable water available in the kitchen and the free coffee/tea in the mornings. There was also a laundry facility and supermarket nearby, as well as good restaurants within walking distance. it was a great value for a short stop and they even allowed us to park our motorcycle inside. Cons: Nothing to mention 😊.

Atmosphere could be improved.

Although the place was a bit run down, the staff was incredibly helpful. They even accommodated my husband's dietary restrictions for breakfast. the room had fans instead of AC, but they provided towels and soap, which was a nice touch. the bed was comfortable, and the free breakfast and coffee in the morning were a nice bonus. The bathrooms were basic but sufficient, and the wifi worked well on the top floor. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all ☺️.

My recent stay at Hostal Fachente was a good experience. The location was excellent, situated right in the center of town. The hostel itself wasvery comfy and tidy, providing a cozy atmosphere. Despite being a solo traveler, I found the hostel to be quite enjoyable. The helpful staff were pretty good too assist me when I made a mistake with my airport shuttle. Their really good service made a difference. I am very grateful to them. I highly recommend Hostal Fachente for a pleasant and convenient stay.

I recently stayed at Hostal Fachente for a few days during my trip to Nicaragua. It's a great budget option with a fantastic location just a few blocks from the center and close to restaurants. The 24hr reception was a lifesaver when our shuttle was delayed. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room itself was basic but comfortable, especially with the two fans provided. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was quite good, with a choice between eggs and gallo pinto or pancakes.

Felt like relaxing at home, nothing too much trouble.

We enjoyed our recent stay at a hostel in Leon. The location was great, right in the middle of town with easy access to attractions, an ATM, and a supermarket nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathroom had good water pressure. We were actually surprised to find that the WiFi worked well in our room on the top floor. it was a good value for money and we would recommend it.
